The ocean view was stunning, but we were annoyed by the broken balcony lock.

Patatran Village impressed me with its stunning location right across from the beach. The view from my room was simply perfect. Each morning, I enjoyed breakfast at the outdoor kiosk, savoring local juices. The staff here, especially Lindy, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always greeting me with a smile. Biking around the island was effortless, and I appreciated that rental bikes were available right at the hotel. The room was clean and well maintained, which added to my comfort during the stay. However, the bathroom could use some refurbishment to match the overall charm of the hotel. I also found breakfast options to be a bit limited, though the dinner options were delicious. Despite a few hiccups, my time at Patatran was very enjoyable, and I would certainly return again on my next trip to La Digue.

Stunning ocean views from the balcony every morning.
The room felt outdated and the mattresses were incredibly firm, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom had visible wear and tear, needing maintenance to match the beauty of the hotel. Additionally, breakfast options were limited and didn't offer enough variety to satisfy different tastes.

I almost wrote a good review, but the breakfast was under all criticism, with everything making me quesy. Plus, I was shocked there was no welcome bottle of water in the room—complete oversight! As a discerning guest, I expected a complimentary upgrade. I guess my expectations were just too high.

My children wished for more kid-friendly activities.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The private beach was perfect for relaxing, and we loved the outdoor pool. Lindy and her team made us feel welcome, and I recommend trying the local juice for breakfast. Biking around the island was a breeze, and the garden was beautiful.
The trail to our room was pretty steep, making it a bit of a hike each time we went back. This could be tough for some guests as it might get tiring.

Not worth the price tag
The view from the balcony was something else, just gorgeous! Plus, the food is decent, especially the breakfast with fresh fruit and hot options!
It wasn't cheap but honestly, still acceptable.

Breathtaking views and lovely staff!
We spent 2 nights in a Honeymoon Suite and absolutely loved the spacious room and gorgeous ocean view from the balcony, making every morning special. The staff went above and beyond, arranging a memorable snorkeling tour and even helped us with transportation back to the ferry. However, the dining options were limited and could use an upgrade in variety.

Loved the spacious room with an amazing ocean view while lounging on the balcony! The outdoor pool and the lovely garden were perfect for relaxing. The only downside was that the bikes weren’t in the best shape, so I'd suggest you check them out before heading out! 🌊

Just a top selection for a weekend jaunt in La Digue with good value for money. The snorkeling right off the beach was fantastic—got to see turtles up close! Rent a bike to explore nearby spots easily.
